There's a Takashi Murakami-curated exhibition at the Japan Society. The head of the East Asian Studies Department told me about a couple of months ago, but I forgot about it until ET brought it up.
Below's a sample of Murakami's work. It's entitled 2000 Peter Norton Family Christmas Project. It's sitting in the Humanities Building at U-Albany in a crappy case next to the Writing Center. It's like they couldn't think of a place to put the various art projects the Peter Norton Family donated, so they stuck them in this completely random and unprotected spot.

Sorry for the blurriness. I took them on museum setting to avoid the flash reflecting off of the case and couldn't really prop the camera appropriately to avoid movement.
