REFUND!

I'm getting money back from two governmental bodies this year. State of New York and federal. What am I doing with this boon? Saving it for my trip to DC this fall? Saving it for tuition and books? Investing in a buyer's market? Why, no, of course not. This is me, Sugar Kat the Round-eye, remember? I'm pre-spending it (meaning spending the money before it's deposited in my bank account) on things like the hardcover of Michael Chabon's Summerland and the boxed DVD set of the third season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am very stupid with money, but I'm happy in the short-term.
