Holy Flying Butt-monkeys, Batman!

It's things like this which make me think that my country is pretty much fucked. And that makes me very sad indeed, as, when you scrape away at my thickening patina of cynicism, I'm an idealistic red-blooded American patriot.

Patrick Nielsen Hayden's response, apparently, is to wear unusual hats and allow monkeys to reside in and fly out of his butt, which makes me think he's turning into Halifax. Anything which helps you cope, I suppose.
